Do you pine for the simpler times, when you'd get home and snuggle up to an episode of The O.C.? Did you desperately want Marissa and Ryan to stay together forever? If you loved the show as much as we did, check out these 10 reasons we miss The O.C.
Everyone was attractive.
Whatever age they really were, the cast of The O.C. were seriously good looking. Grandmothers and mothers alike seemed to ooze attractiveness from every pore. It was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but not so good for your own ego.
They made up newer and frankly better holidays.
Christmukkah was ALWAYS a good idea. There was nothing better than mixing religious holidays together. All the more to celebrate, am I right?

We loved Seth for his dorkiness.
Who couldn't love the most genuine and mature teen of The O.C. who just wanted the cool girl to love him back? Seth also still takes the top spot for the most adorable Valentine's gesture on a TV show. He made comic books and Death Cab For Cutie cool and we're so grateful to him for that.
It was always sunny.
The O.C. is known for its good weather, but it amazes me how little rain is shown throughout the entire show. The upside was that there was never a girl in a bikini far from eyesight. You'd expect everyone to be consistently happy in such good weather, but not in the O.C! Drama, drama, drama was the only order of the day.

Marissa was pretty hot.
Thankfully, due to the weather we got to see a lot of women in bikinis, and Ryan was never seen without a tank top. And as for Marissa? Bring her back, we say.
But she had nothing on Summer.
Let's be honest, it was really all about Summer.

All of the drama.
There were births, deaths, drugs, lesbian antics and alcoholism. It was an absolute rollercoaster of emotion from the outset. If you didn't cry when Marissa died, your heart is made of stone.
Who couldn't love Sandy and Kirsten?
The most understanding, wonderful parents anyone could ever wish for. As well as being incredibly attractive, these two melted our hearts with their own love story. And how they never shouted. That part was important ok....
It was just ridiculously romantic and gave us all the feels.
Between Seth and Summer, Sandy and Kristen, and yes, even Ryan and Marissa, we started to believe in love. It gave us a lot of hope for our own romantic endeavours, to be honest.
