She really does run the world doesn't she?
She might have three kids to look after these days but the iconic diva shows no signs of slowing down on the work front.
Proving there's no end to her talents, Beyoncé's turning her hand to the world of live-action remakes. She will take on the role of lioness Nala in the remake of Disney's Lion King and we can't wait!
Disney announced details of the much-anticipated movie last night. Playing Simba will be Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor will take on the role of Scar and James Earl Jones will voice Mufasa.

I am glad the Lion King is being rebooted so we can remember Scar can only be President for so long before Beyoncé shows up & fixes it

The movie is scheduled for release in July 2019 and will be directed by Jon Favreau who also led The Jungle Book remake.
We're hoping Disney will throw us a curveball and have Mufasa not die in the reboot. We don't know if we can handle the emotional trauma all over again!
