London Grammar
Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major are the what makes up British trip trio London Grammar, who play The Academy this Tuesday the 3rd of 2013. After releasing their first EP 'Metal and Dust' in February of this year, featuring on house act Disclosure's single "Lose My Mind" and the release of their single "Strong" in July making it to the UK Top 20 charts, it's been a bit of an explosive year for London Grammar. After the pair pulled out of their scheduled event last week, Salzberg’s finest talent Klangkarussell will play the Button Factory this Wednesday evening the 27th of November in association with Bedlam. These two very ambitious Austrian’s first hit the scene with their track “Sonnentanz”, which racked up over a million YouTube hits after only one month and now with thanks to Will Heard’s "Sun Don't Shine" cover of the song, it has over 20 million.

Hozier
Hozier play two sold shows at The Pepper Canister Church, this Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th of December. Andrew Hozier Byrne recently left his degree course from Trinity College Dublin to pursue his music career, but left his mark behind as the lead vocalist of the Trinity Orchestra. It might feel like he came out of nowhere - but even though his ever so catchy single "Take Me To Church" was uploaded to YouTube only two months ago, it has since accumulated almost 1 million views.

Walking On Cars
Walking On Cars play The Academy this Saturday and Sunday night the 7th and 8th of December. This five piece Irish band met as students in their hometown of Dingle, Co. Kerry. After recording demos and listening to music, they decided to lock themselves away in a small cottage in the Dingle peninsula and started to write all of their music. In this six months was when their debut single "Catch Me If You Can", which made it into the top 20 Irish charts and within a year the group had entered and won The Red Bull Bedroom Jam 2012 and had extensive radio play.
