This comedian pronouncing Irish names will remind people who've been somewhere like the States of the daily struggle. Yanks, and pretty much all non-Irish people, always pronounce Irish names wrong.
Irish comedian Gary Lyons of Lyonsey’s Den, decided to do something obvious and highlight how funny our names really are. He literally just pronounces them the way they're spelt and the result is hilarious.
The Tipperary lad gives us a whole list of names including Saoirse, Aoibhann and Caoimhe and highlights how they really don't sound anything like they're pronounced.
Maybe next time we shouldn't be so hard on the Yanks, eh?
