Rarely do presenters push the boundaries of an interview and last night Emma Willis joined an exclusive list of presenters who challenged their guests for their controversial behaviour.
During last night's eviction show, Willis conducted an interview with Roxanne Pallett, a former Emmerdale actress who walked from Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night after hearing her name chanted by the crowd. Last week, the actress accused Ryan Thomas, who played Jason Grimshaw on Coronation Street for ten years, of physically and intentionally assaulting her while in the Big Brother house.
A clip from the show revealed that Thomas had not intentionally assaulted but play fought with the actress; resulting in Ryan receiving a formal warning as Pallet demanded the actor be evicted.
The Willis/ Pallett interview, which you can watch below, was a tense affair with no audience and Willis remained ice cold throughout Pallett's displays of emotion and apologies, unimpressed by the actresses answers.
During one point in the interview, Willis asked Pallett why, after seeing the moment on television for herself, would she suddenly change how that moment made her feel. :

At the end of the interview, Willis chose not to comfort the actress, who was visibly upset, and ended the interview by saying "thanks everybody". The move resulted in social media claiming the presenter deserved an MBE for services to broadcasting as she refused to acknowledge Pallet's 'crocodile tears':

Earlier in the day, Pallett appeared Channel 5's Jeremy Vine to discuss her intentions for accusing Thomas and was confronted by the singer Jamelia who told the actress to get help. According to a clip from last nights show, Thomas is back to his old self, pranking his fellow housemates and enjoying his time in the house.
Good to see Ryan back to his cheerful self again and bringing some fun back to the house ????❤️ https://t.co/K9mQRkfOO3

Thousands of people supported the actor after he broke down in the Diary Room over Pallet's claims including Pallet's former Emmerdale castmates. Thomas is bookies favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother.
