With the eighth season of Game Of Thrones having finished filming back in July fans have been eagerly awaiting any hint of an announcement as to when the final season will be released.
Well, today HBO released a teaser trailer that puts a firm timeline on when the last season of one of the most wildly successful television programmes of all time will be released.
According to the trailer it will be aired from April 2019 - giving plenty of time still for people to catch up or rewatch the previous seven seasons.

The eighth season is set to be the shortest season of the show so far boasting only six episodes, however, given the massive run times of many of the episodes this will still provide an absolute glut of viewing material and tie up the loose ends that millions of fans having been waiting to see resolved.
