Now that the dust has settled on Game of Thrones season 8, we can look back at the final season with less anger and disappointment. Some people can at least. One interesting thing about Game of Thrones was watching an array of young actors grow up and change. Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran) was only ten when the show started; Maisie Williams (Arya) was thirteen; Sophie Turner (Sansa) was fourteen, and Kit Harington was 23.
For so many people in the cast, Game of Thrones was a first big acting gig, and there probably won't be another acting gig like Game of Thrones. The show also did great things for the film industry in Ireland, with so much of the show filmed in the north. During this reunion, most of the footage shown is from Castle Ward in Down.
With the prequel getting started in the last few weeks, this video is a fun throwback to where it all began. This is very enjoyable for the friendship between the Stark sisters, and Kit Harington's disgust at seeing his short-haired, clean shaven face.
