The Golden Globes are the first of many in the award season, and normally tip what films are to win further down the line.

La La Land picked up this award and is about a jazz pianist and a struggling actress crossing paths in Los Angeles.

This award went to Isabelle Hupert for her role in Elle.

4. Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama

Casey Affleck scooped up this award for his role in Manchester By The Sea.

Emma Stone grabbed this award for her role in La La Land.
