20th Century Fox executive Stacey Snider confirmed at CinemaCon today that Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller would both be returning for Deadpool's sequel. When there was talk of a sequel shortly after Deadpool was released earlier this year, it already seemed possible that Reynolds and Miller would come back, but now it's been made official.
Snider also revealed that the entire creative team would be returning for the sequel. Deadpool ended up being way more of a success than it was expected it to be, and has become the highest grossing R-rated film ever, and earned more than $757 million worldwide.
