It would appear that everybody's favourite Irish gangland drama Love/Hate is set to return to our screens a lot sooner than we might have expected.
According to sources at the Irish Independent, RTÉ's smash hit television masterpiece will begin it's fourth season on October 6th, as opposed to the usual premiere date around the beginning of November.
So why soon and secretive? Well according to the Indo's source, the show's bosses wanted to come back with a bang and surprise audiences with a much earlier return.
"They really wanted it to come back with a bang, so decided to bring the date forward compared to previous years," their source said.

Last year's season was one of the most watched and talked about in Irish television history, with Tom Vaughan-Lawlor's Nidge coming under scrutiny from not only the Special Branch but his new IRA buddies.
The finale, which saw one of the main characters in the show being gunned down by Sinéad O'Connor (...) was watched by around 970,000 on its first air date.
We simply cannot wait for the show's explosive return.
