The film that brought us a dodgy singing Pierce Brosnan has gotten a sequel...
Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan and Amanda Seyfried will all be returning for the sequel ten years after the release of the first movie that is based on one of Broadways longest-running shows Mamma Mia.
Going by the trailer Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, it looks like the sequel will be a prequel of sorts. The movie will center on Sophie (Seyfried) dealing with an unexpected pregnancy which results in a stroll down memory lane for the cast who share stories with Sophie about how her Mam Donna (Streep) dealt with being a single parent - interesting...
There's a lot of speculation and stan anger on Twitter that the movie may have killed off Donna, a fan favourite:
