Banksy is a lot of things but he's not an art attack!
Somewhere, somehow, a massive rumour started circulating that Art Attack's Neil Buchanan is actually Banksy. It's the sort of completely brilliant rumour that 2020 really needed to distract us all from the constant bad news.
Unfortunately it's also a complete nonsense. After receiving a host of queries regarding the conspiracy, a statement has been posted on Neil's website, saying:
Neil Buchanan is NOT Banksy.
PLEASE NOTE: We have been inundated with enquiries over the weekend regarding the current social media story. Unfortunately this website does not have the infrastructure to answer all these enquiries individually, however we can confirm that there is no truth in the rumour whatsoever.
Neil spent Lockdown with vulnerable members of his family and is now preparing to launch his new art collection in 2021.
Thank you and please stay safe.
That puts that to bed then. Or does it?
Neil Buchanan is NOT Banksy. Could Banksy use cardboard tubes from old toilet rolls and different coloured ping pong balls to make a trap so you could tell if anybody had been in your room while you’d been out? I think we know the answer to that. It’s ‘no’. #neilbuchanan

On a side note, Banksy or not, can we all take a moment to reflect on just how bloody good Art Attack was!?
