While so many people were left heartbroken by the news that essentially all summer gigs and festivals are off this year due to the Coronavirus, the news that particularly stung was that Westlife would likely to have cancel their gigs planned for Cork in late August. The lads from Sligo had a two monster gigs planned for Pairc ui Chaoimh for the last days of August but unfortunately the Irish government has banned all mass gatherings until the end of August.
Well all is not lost. Today Westlife have confirmed that the two gigs will take place on the 27th and 28th of August 2021. Your tickets will still be valid, you'll just have to wait an extra year to use them.
