It's no surprise that the 90s were an incredible time for gaming. With the transition from 2D into the 3D world the 90s were a time for innovation and improvement. From Super Mario to Lara Croft how could you not be glued to your PlayStation at some stage?
It could be argued that the games today are much better because of their flashy graphics but you can never truly beat the classics. Besides, without the likes of Super Mario and Crash Bandicoot, would there be such a high standard of games today?
