Something to look forward to every year is the release of the new county jerseys. There are some magnificent jerseys out there and yet there are some not-so-magnificent jerseys. Here we will rank all the jerseys in order of their beauty.
There are 34 counties that will take part in the inter-county football and hurling championship. 34 jerseys to rank, believe me, it has really not an easy job. Keep reading to see where your favourite jersey ranked.
34 - Armagh
Sorry Armagh, it just doesn't match the superiority of the other jerseys on this list.
33 - Roscommon

The map on the back of this jersey lets it down so much. Unnecessary.
32 - New York
Just a little too busy.
31 - London

Not the worst but not good enough to rank any higher.
30 - Carlow
A sneak peek....... !!! Classy 👌🏻🇬🇳#ITCarlow #CarlowRising 🇬🇳@itcarlow @ONeills1918 pic.twitter.com/z6DJvjrmcT

Carlow has definitely moved up the list from previous years. The new sponsor makes a huge difference.

29 - Offaly
If this jersey was to lose the diagonal stripes, it would definitely move up the list.
28 - Donegal
Last years green stripe across the chest was much better. Who votes to bring it back?!

27 - Longford
Nice jersey, just not nice enough to compete with any of the jerseys that are higher on this list.
26 - Louth
Simple but perhaps a little too simple.

25 - Clare
Way too many spikes.
24 - Fermanagh

Good jersey. Fermanagh are upping their game.
23 - Kilkenny
Glad to see Kilkenny adding a bit more diversity to their never changing black and amber stripes.
22 - Westmeath

Not the worst but falls short of its maroon counterpart, Galway.
21 - Laois
Better than previous jerseys, but still quite dated.
20 - Cork

This is where to competition gets tough.
19 - Derry
A little like a club jersey, but good jersey all the same.
18 - Leitrim

Really good jersey, simple but effective.
17 - Waterford
Worn with Passion, Made with Pride. The new 2018 Waterford GAA home jersey is now available on sale at Intersport Elverys in Dungarvan and Waterford City.

Waterford’s new sponsor looks great, especially paired with the double stripe detail on the shoulders and sleeves. The neckline is also much better than previous years.
16 - Tyrone

Very, very, very slick.
15 - Tipperary
The grain effect gives the classic looking jersey a contemporary feel. The chequered detail on the back of the collar is also a nice touch. Gorgeous jersey.
14 - Limerick

Limerick seem to never stray too far wrong when it comes to their kit. Good jersey.
13 - Monaghan
Really nice jersey from the front, however not as great from the back.
12 - Meath

*Insert heart eyes emoji here* The competition is getting even tougher from here on in.
11 - Kerry
Kerry have nailed the jersey game with this year's new retro design.
10 - Galway

As good as it has ever been for Gawlay perhaps.
9 - Cavan
Beauty at its finest.
8 - Antrim

Antrim have upped their game completely regarding jerseys. The double white stripe above the logo ties it all together perfectly
7 - Down
The most perfect shade of red. Delish
6 - Kildare

Delish. Kildare can do no wrong when it comes to their jersey!
5 - Wicklow
The three stripe contemporary jersey is absolutely mouth watering.
4 - Sligo

One word. Mesmerising.
3 - Dublin
It was an easy decision to put this jersey in the top three. Amazing.
2 - Wexford

The colour, the sponsor, the design, will the yellow bellies ever be able to top this jersey? Mouth-watering.
1 - Mayo
Can anyone disagree with this being number 1? The closest thing to perfection you will ever lay your eyes on.
