Taylor Swift won Album Of The Year for '1989' at last night's Grammy awards and her speech was something to behold. Love her or hate her, you've got to respect the fact that she's the first woman to ever win album of the year twice. I mean come on, that's hella impressive.
While Taylor's speech was super feminist, it also made a not so subtle dig at Kanye West and his recent tirade against her. In case you missed it, or are living under a rock somewhere, West claimed in his new song 'Famous' that he made "that b*tch famous." Charming.
Well Taylor made sure her feelings were known in her acceptance speech. "As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there will be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work … you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there. That will be the greatest moment."
