The UK Blind Date has returned ahead of our very own reboot that is coming later this year.
Paul O' Grady is hosting the new version of the iconic show over on Channel 5. The second episode aired last Saturday night and in the hotseat was Corkman Glen. Glen had to choose between three possible dates to find the one to take away on a holiday.
Of course, Glen was asked to speak as Gaeilge which left him red-faced, a challenge none of us could meet.
Beautiful and speaks three languages? Too good to be true? #BlindDate pic.twitter.com/vY89cgJnEp

As usual, Blind Date had to throw a bit of, eh, confetti into the mix. One contestant, Kayleigh, decided to wear a wedding dress to meet the man of her dreams. Forward thinking or a little bit too forward?

When asked why she decided to wear a wedding dress Kayleigh told Paul: "It was an amazing impulse buy, I had to think about it and now I'm really scared to be sat here in it. I'm going to find the man of my dreams". Then there was this joke about breaking a hip...
Watch out for your hip replacements, fellas; this one is wild! ? #BlindDate continues on Saturday at 7pm. pic.twitter.com/l4J4xmTDpl

Tweeters took no prisoners and wanted everyone to know what they thought of that dress:
A contestant has turned up to #BlindDate in her wedding dress.

We'll have to wait until the next episode to find out how Glen got on with his date.
