We're officially shaking...
Watching our favourite Christmas movies over the last week or so has left us wondering what happened to those kids we looked up to so much as, well, kids? It turns out a lot of our childhood heroes are still acting but by golly have they changed:
1. Goodnight Mr. Tom (1998)
A TV classic based on a book most of us had to read in school at some stage or another, Goodnight Mr. Tom broke our hearts thanks to the brilliant performance of William (Nick Robinson). William is now 31 and continues to star in theatre productions.

The 1998 classic Madeline starred Hatty Jones as Madeline, an orphan who lives in a boarding school in Paris - think of it as the French version of Matilda. Hatty still makes appearances in television programmes such as Holby City but Madeline is her only movie role.

12. Hook (1991)
Another Robin Williams classic, Hook introduced us to Jack and Maggie Banning. Charlie Korsmo, who played Jack, has left the acting profession and is now a top-notch law professor and Amber Scott, who played Maggie, who hasn't starred in anything since 1995.

13. Spy Kids (2001)
The Spy Kids franchise was a massive success in the early noughties and launched the careers of Daryl Sabara (Juni Cortez) and Alexa Vega (Carmen Cortez) who played spy kids. Vega hasn't changed in 17 years but Sabara has been recently making headlines thanks to his engagement to pop star Meghan Trainor.

14. The Sixth Sense (1999)
We've kept our most shook worthy addition till last. One of our favourite horrors to watch in the 90s was the Sixth Sense and it didn't matter that we were far too young. One person that has changed entirely is the star of the movie "I see dead people" Haley Joel Osment.
