If you're missing the constant discussion of egg whites, torte and pound cake during the summer months don't fret, The Great British Bake Off is back in two weeks.
The much-loved television series is returning to our screens at 8 pm on Tuesday, August 28th, on Channel 4, just in time for your baked goods to cool down during the autumn nights.
Set your egg timers.

Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig will return as hosts for the new series. The judging line-up will also remain as it was for the last series, which saw Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith crown Sophie Faldo the winner.
Although we all live in hope, there's no sign of the Mary Berry returning this season. Fans on Twitter are already freaking out about sitting in on a Tuesday night:
I’m actually dying for the next season of #GBBO you have NO idea

If you think, for one second, I’m going to cancel all my Tuesday evenings for the next 10 weeks just to watch a load of people I don’t know, mess about with a load of eggs and flour, breaking down over deflated profiteroles... then you’re absolutely spot on! #GBBO @noelfielding11 pic.twitter.com/MozcRuWYLA
