When the news broke of a Love Island Christmas special back in October fans were ecstatic.
One element everyone was scratching their headS over was what former contestants would appear and whether or not couples like Georgia and Sam, who have broken up since the series ended in the summer, would be reunited.
In particular, fans of Georgia and Sam and Charlie and Ellie will be interested to see how the pairs react to one another. Both couples experienced serious public breakups after the show. Sam accusing Georgia of cheating and Ellie reportedly cried on the streets of London after a row with rich boy Charlie. Runners-up Laura and Paul will also come face-to-face.
It's not like these islanders will stay single for long. Georgia will star in Celebs Go Dating in February and Ellie has already revealed in an interview with the Daily Mail she feels nothing for Charlie.
According to the Radio Times, the one-off episode will be hosted by Caroline Flack who'll reunite 19 of the former Islanders for a festive-themed special.
This year's winners, Jack and Dani will appear alongside third place contestants Wes and Megan, and couple Adam and Zara. Kaz will be at the reunion solo, as Josh wasn't available at the time of filming.

The Islanders will discuss life in the limelight and those tabloid headlines as they gather around a fire in a festive retreat.
