With less than a week to go, this year's Love Island hopefuls have been revealed. Great news for Irish fans, there's a Dublin Islander. There have been weeks of speculation on who will be entering the villa this year, with some absolute chancers pretending to be leaked contestants for their 15 minutes of fame. Here is this year's Love Island Cast:
Yewande Biala
Yewande is a 23 year old Scientist from Dublin. On being the perfect Love Islander, she says: "I’m a scientist, which is a unique job. I think people may be surprised. Every time I say that I’m a scientist, people are shocked. I think there are loads of intelligent people on reality television, last year we had Dr Alex and the year before we had Camilla Thurlow in the villa."
Fantastic, the villa needs another Camilla.
Lucie Donlan

Lucie is a 21 year old Surfer from Newquay. On being the perfect Love Islander, she says: "I stand out and I’m different to the usual girls that might go on the show. I’m more into sports as well as being glam. I can do both, which makes me stand out compared to other girls. I’m more of a guy’s girl than a girl’s girl. I’ve got a lot of friends that are into riding bikes. I get on with those girls who are bit more tomboy-ish. I get on fine with girls, I just don’t like hanging out with girly girls too much. I like hanging out with guys because they’re into the same type of sports…. less drama really."
Less drama, fantastic, I'm not sure I could handle another Georgia. Loyal, anyone.

Amber Gill
Amber is a 21 year old Beauty Therapist from Newcastle. On being the perfect Love Islander, she says: "I’ve got a big personality and I get on with people really well. People think I’m funny. I don’t take myself too seriously and I’m always up for a laugh. I’ll be good on challenges and dates."

Life's too short to take yourself too seriously.
Amy Hart
Amy is a 26 year old Air Hostess/ Cabin Crew Manager. On being the perfect Love Islander, she says "I’m a good mix of someone who can be fun and serious, I’ll be able to look after people and I’ll be able to get really stuck in with all the fun things too. Also, I am the Bridget Jones of my friendship group so I need to find someone."

I hear you girl, it's not easy being the Bridget Jones of the group at all social gatherings.
Anna Vakili
Anna is a 28 year old Pharmacist from London. On being the perfect Love Islander, she says: "I think I’m different to anyone who has been on the show before. I have the whole glam look, I’m fun but at the same time I feel like I have more to me than that. I studied hard and I’ve got my masters. I’m a pharmacist and I have a Middle Eastern background."

Now in its 5th season, it could be argued that the show lacks diversity and picks the same types of contestants year after year. We hope contestants like Anna do bring something different to the mix.
Anton Danyluk
Anton is a 24 year old Gym owner from Airdrie, Scotland. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says "First of all, I am Scottish and I don’t think there has been a Scottish guy on the show before. I think I am the first? Laura Anderson and Camilla Thurlow both got to the final. Hopefully, I’ll get further than them and win it!"

I have always been a fan of the Scottish contestants, look forward to seeing what Anton brings to the show.
Tommy Fury
Tommy is a 20 year old Boxer from Manchester. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says "I feel like I’ve got a unique personality and Love Island is a good place to showcase it. I’m fun, bubbly, good to get along with and just really easy-going."

Rumour has it Tommy ended things with his ex to go on the show.
Joe Garratt
Joe aged 22 from South-east London is a catering company owner. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says: "I’m very fun. I don’t really take life too seriously and I’m always having jokes. I think that’s what makes me the perfect Islander."

Joe, you've set an expectation now, we expect jokes.
Michael Griffiths
Michael is a 27 year old firefighter from Liverpool. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says "I’m a hero! I’m a firefighter, who doesn’t want their own firefighter? Their own local hero."

Ehh.. sounds humble. I do have a weakness for the Scouse accent.
Sherif Lanre
Sherif is a 20 year old Chef and semi-pro rugby player from London. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says: "I’m upbeat and cheeky and outrageous with my own friends so hopefully that continues in the villa. I’m always on a mission to make people laugh. That’ll be of value in there."

Sherif is looking for a girl with a nice smile, nice teeth and nice bum, where's my eye roll emoji when I need it.
Callum Macleod

Callum is a 28 year old Aircraft engineer from South Wales. On being the perfect Love Islander, he says: "I’m a genuine, normal guy and up for a good laugh. The whole experience is going to be great and if I meet someone, that’s what I’m here for…I’m 28 now so time is ticking, I don’t want to be left on the shelf."
Callum is big on loyalty, not that dreaded word again!!

Curtis is the brother of Strictly Come Dancing regular AJ Pritchard. With those dimples, you can already feel the Nation routing for him to find love.
This year the producers of Love Island have announced that each contestant who appears in the new series of the show will be provided with a minimum of eight therapy sessions. The purpose of the therapy sessions will be to help them cope with the consequences of appearing on the show in both the short, and long-term.
The new series kicks off Monday 3rd June on ITV2.
