Eyebrows have become the staple of any makeup look in recent years. With Instagram being packed full of perfectly trimmed and shaped brows, it can be a minefield.
Although the thick eyebrow look is definitely here to stay, if you'd like to try and attempt the Instagram look – we've got you, fam. There's a few tips and tricks you can make use of that will give you that photo-finish look every single time.
So get your tweezers at the ready.
1. Shape your eyebrows according to your eye and face shape
If you have big eyes, bigger brows will help balance them out. If you have smaller eyes, thinner eyebrows will frame them more. We recommend working with what you've got, as trying to tame super thick eyebrows will end in disaster.
2. Trim the long hair at the inside of your eyebrows
There's nothing as gross as eyebrows longer than the hair on your head. Use a small trimmer to make this hair the same length as the rest of your eyebrow.

3. Find where your eyebrows should peak
You can easily do this by lining an eyebrow pencil to the side of your nose and pointing it to your iris. It will lead you to the natural point in your eyebrows.
4. Find out where your eyebrow should end
Same as before, line your pencil to the side of your nose, but this time line it up with the outer corner of your eye. This should help you find where your eyebrow should end.

5. Try and keep them as natural as possible
As much as Instagram is all about those super product-filled brows, they look horrific in real life. Although using products will make them look more shapely, it's best to follow the 'less is more' state of mind.
6. Use an eyebrow gel and powder
Use an eyebrow gel for the arch and end of your brows to give them a polished look, and use powder to fill in the inner part. This is what will give you that Instagram look.
7. Find your best angle
Even if your eyebrows are done perfectly you have to remember eyebrows are sisters, not twins. Taking a photo at the right angle will you that Insta you've been waiting for.
