Donut joint, Krispy Kreme is on the hunt for a brand new location in Dublin.
Rumours have been flying around that Krispy Kreme have been looking at spots around Dublin city centre to bring us their donutty goodness, without having to travel to Blanchardstown.
The American donut franchise has been a big hit here in Ireland since it's opening in Blanchardstown. They initially opened the donut parlour as a 24 hour drive-thru, but that didn't last long after confectionery fanatics caused havoc queuing for a taste of their favourite donuts.
After the shop opened, people came from all over the country to queue at the Krispy Kreme store, with the line stretching the whole way out the car park, with the cars honking, causing residents of the area to complain and pull the 24 hour status of the store.
The Krispy Kreme shop has now changed its opening hours from 24 hours a day to 6.30am to 12am each day.
After that hugely successful opening, the donut kings have started looking for a brand new spot in the city centre to open their second store in the country.
The Sunday Business Post quotes sources in the commercial property industry saying the company is eyeing up properties in the city centre, only six months after the opening of their store in Blanchardstown.
