We contacted the General Register office in Ireland to ask what baby's names were banned in Ireland and this is the response we got:
With regard to Civil Registration of births deaths and marriages there is no actual list of banned names in Ireland. However if a requested name is not in the best interests of the child the Registrar General may not consent to the registration of the said name.
So there, at the discretion of the Registrar General wonder what you could sneak under the radar... gonna try 'Big Huge Fuckin' Bags Of Cans With The Lads', I'll keep youse posted.
