If you've ever dreamed of being in Game Of Thrones or just a Netflix show knows your chance. Limerick's Troy Studios are looking for hundreds of extras for a big-budget sci-fi television series written by the creator of GOT GRR Martin.
The Netflix show is called Nightflyers and will be an adaption of Martin's 1987 book of the same name. The series is set in outer space where a team of nine have to defeat the forces of evil.

According to Peter Dalton of MovieExtrasie who spoke to the Longford Leader, the Netflix show is searching for people to fill numerous roles and anyone can be considered for a role in one of the biggest ever productions filmed in Ireland:
We are delighted to be casting Nightflyers. It’s a really super opportunity for Limerick and Troy Studios so it’s a privilege to be a part of it. The interest has been phenomenal so far, we'll be casting hundreds of extras over the course of the series and we’re looking for people from Limerick and the Mid-West to fill the roles. We’re still looking for more people, there are definitely some quirky souls out there that have yet to register their interest and we'd love to find them.

The production will run until the end of August and casting will be searching for people of all ages, nationalities, and genders. Don't worry though, you won't need experience and the position will be paid.
The series will star Gretchen Mol of Boardwalk Empire fame with an expert team that has been involved in award-winning shows such as The Blacklist, Suits and Orange is the New Black.
