Although Ireland's health and emergency services have been continuing their heroic work throughout the frosty weather conditions a number of people have become unexpected legends over the last two days:
The Orange Army
These Irish Rail workers, dubbed online as the Orange Army, have been constantly keeping train tracks clear of snow throughout the ferocity of the weather conditions and people on social media have been saluting them for their tireless work. Thankfully they got off work at 2 pm today.

Even though Dublin Bus was forced to limit their service their drivers kept everyone in good spirits as they tried to get everyone home safe and sound:
