We all wish we could see the future but there are many situations whereby you can almost predict what will happen or what situations are likely to not work out in the first place. Here are the social situations you should avoid.
1. A date with someone you know you’re not that interested in
What is the point? If you have zero interest in the person you're only fooling yourself and wasting their time along with the possibility of getting their hopes up. A friend of mine (who actually isn't me. you know the way people be all like, I have this "friend" who has a premature ejaculation problem, in order to get advice, well that isn't the case here) constantly goes back to this one girl who he has zero interest in both in terms of attraction and on an intellectual level, he's into talking about sport and she's, well..she's intelligent on a higher level. Yet, she obviously has a thing for him but he ignores the fact that he could hurt her eventually, he doesn't do it for that reason though, maybe its familiarity, but they'd be better off as friends. So yeah best to nip it in the bud at the start.
2. Being a third wheel
Being a third wheel is just a massive pain in the hole...for all involved.

3. College related nights out with that group member you don't get on with
Unless you want a practice for future Christmas office parties later in life then avoid these at all costs. This is the person who objects your every move during assignments and presentation. The anti-you. If you introduce alcohol to this scenario things are only going to explode.
4. Eating at a restaurant you can’t afford
Especially if it's a date and she orders the lobster...then I'm afraid it's the salad for you. Not just any salad, the rocket special. "Any dressing with that sir?" No thanks, I'll just squeeze the lemon that's in this jug of water over it thanks". "And madame any drinks for you?".."why yes I'll have a glass of Dom Perignon......actually, just bring a bottle"....DAMN
5. Anywhere your ex is likely to be
You may feel like enough time has passed and that you'll be fine when you bump into them but I must stress, if it's avoidable....avoid it. If they're in one of your modules then there's not a whole lot that can be done but should it be a case of I'll only see them on a night out then steer clear of the places you both frequent for a while...you'll thank me for it later.
