It's that time of year again folks! Time to don your suit and take your lady out for a night she'll never forget. Unfortunately, as VDay comes around every year, men everywhere panic about where the fuck to take their girl. So instead of settling for the only restaurant that has space in town, have a look through these unconventional date ideas and see which one your girl would love.
Have a night in Paris inside your own house
Grab some candles (so necessary for any Valentine's activity) and recreate a Parisian restaurant in your house. All the effort will show her how much she means to you and it'll be cheaper than going out. Plus you can just hop into bed after! Put fresh towels at the end of the bed and a chocolate on her pillow to keep the theme going. Super romantic and if you're creative you could create something amazing.
Go camping and bring smores (and a shitload of blankets)
If your girl is into the outdoors, then this is the date for her this Valentines Day. A car is pretty essential, so load it up with blankets, treats (and obviously a tent). You can snuggle under the stars and you'll be totally alone to enjoy yourselves. Just make sure you don't die of cold.
Go to the zoo in winter

A zoo in February, are you mental? Possibly, but there will be barely anyone there and all the baby animals are being/have been born. So drop in and let her loose her shit when she sees all the babies. You'll be able to act like complete loons and no one will be around to judge.
Dessert Hopping
A dinner date without the dinner. Pick a restaurant you want to start in and go round the town sampling any desserts you please. It's more exciting and inventive than a plane old dinner date, so if dessert is her thing this could be the winner for you.
Go to a Spa
Boys, we know you hate to admit it, but there's nothing better than jetting off to a secluded spa for the day and getting pampered. You may even grow to love it! It'll feel like a real treat for her too, so you'll get some serious bonus points.

Who doesn't like a good laugh? At a comedy show you'll be able to laugh your ass off and get drunk at the same time. The atmosphere will be great and it'll put you both in flying form. Just make sure you pick a good comedian.
Make pottery
Believe me, it doesn't have to be as ridiculous as that scene in Ghost, but it's surprisingly good fun and you get to take home what you make after. Memories are key for dates like this, so if she's the creative type this could suit her big time.
Cinema Marathon
If you haven't been to the cinema in a while, this could be a perfect date. Pick a decent cinema and plan a selection of three or four movies. It's a great time of year to see all of the Oscar films before the ceremony as well. If you want to be cheeky, pay for one film and see how long you can stay in the cinema for.
Go for a hike/bike ride
The last thing you want to do is force your girl into this if you know she has ZERO interest in hiking or exercise of this kind. Otherwise, you could end up with a moaning woman on your hands, which is never ideal.
Do a cooking class
Everyone loves food, and it'll be something that you can both do together and recreate another time. It should be pretty fucking funny as well as informative. So don that apron and show her what a pro you are in the kitchen.
