Whether you love a fry-up or gourmet burgers, we can all agree there are some class restaurants across Ireland for every taste. Well, overnight the best of the best have been announced in Ireland's best restaurant awards and surprisingly, the winners aren't all fine dining or unattainable for college students.
The Restaurant Association of Ireland (RAI) awards took place at Dublin's Clayton Hotel last night, with Dublin's Chapter One named Best Restaurant, as well as the city's top award for customer service. Nicely done.
Another win no one could dispute is Best Chef in Ireland, which went to Dannie Barry from Deanes Eipic in Belfast, the first female to receive a Michelin star in Ireland.
There was a new award this year for those of us who aren't able to enjoy fine dining - Pub of the Year - which was presented to Morrissey's of Co. Laois.
