The first day of the Leaving Cert is over and all the pre-game nerves are surely washed away at this stage. The main attraction of Day One was English Paper I which, although strange at times, seemed to go down well with a lot of students.
There were a couple of slightly mad aspects though, such as the essay option of selling your recent invention of the wheel to your Stone Age peers, not to mention Japanese robot teacher 'Robat' and the fact they threw a doosey of a philosophical question into the comprehension. Namely 'Is there a best possible age to be?'
