So it's nearly summer and you still aren't anywhere near your summer bod goals – we can relate. However, there's still some time left to turn it all around. There's only one solution, eat more salads.
Salads are a great way to get in all those micro-nutrients, feel energised and most importantly –to get kudos by posting them to Snapchat. Although salads may make you feel healthy, they normally taste like shite without some essential ingredients and methods.
Here' a few tips and tricks to make a salad that actually tastes nice.
1. Keep your dressing separate to your salad
This is our top tip. There's nothing worse than going through the absolute effort of making a salad and finding it to be a soggy mess.
2. Add in some funky fruit
Grapes, strawberries and even mango add a seriously tasty element to salads.

3. Chop up all your ingredients into edible chunks
This is taken from the lads over at Chopped. Making your salad actually edible is much more appealing than shoving entire spinach leaves into your mouth.
4. Add in one bold ingredient to make it bearable
Something like cheese or a creamy dressing. We don't think chocolate really sits well in a salad.

5. Marinate that chicken hun
Lemon and garlic, sweet chili, teriyaki – it makes everything better.
6. Mix up your dressings
Changing your dressing with every salad can completely change the taste. Mix it up by using balsamic, honey and mustard and even sweet chili.

7. Don't just limit yourself to lettuce
Pasta salads and even couscous salads are okay every few days. Trying to survive off salads alone is a pretty bleak existence, treat yo' self.
