The SUSI grant has been around since 2012 and is an amazing service that has helped thousands of students get through college. According to the Irish Times, they'll be dishing out around €380 million to over 80,000 students this year.
However students be warned, as the introduction of maintenance grants for post-graduate students will mean there will be a higher demand than usual. What the lads at SUSI suggest is to make your application pronto, as over 105,000 applications will be made with only 80,000 successful candidates.
