Chicken fillet rolls could be ruling our world soon as Centra plan to invest €20 million into the company this year.
If that wasn't enough they're planning on creating 460 Centra jobs and opening another 20 stores, according to JOE.ie. The lads at Centra had a decent 2016 with recorded sales of €1.59 billion.
They're also planning on opening a healthier bakery, a new gourmet deli and also upping their coffee game stocking Frank and Honest coffee. Martin Kelleher, the Managing Director of Centra, explained the reason for their success, 'Centra stores are independently owned and operated by 450 local retailers across Ireland. Our committed retailers are the driving force behind the brand’s continued growth.'
So it seems that by sticking to their roots and letting real people own their own business they've managed to make loads of dosh. We can't wait for the new additions as well as the gourmet chicken fillet rolls.
