Adidas Predators. For me, they'll always be synonymous with Steven Gerrard in his halcyon days, thumping in another 30 yard drive. This was before the slip, before the shame.
Of course, most of us had to contend with the lesser brands: your 'Kappas', your 'Hi-techs', your 'Diadoras', but for the chosen few who managed to twist their parents' arms, they turned heads wherever they played.
Now Adidas is releasing the popular football boot again and Predator fanboys can rejoice once more. The decision comes after Adidas re-released the 2002 Predator Mania in the hugely popular 'champagne' colourway, after seeing the ridiculous response where all of the limited edition boots were sold out within minutes, Adidas decided once again to delight nostalgic football fans with another classy re-release.
The boots look harks back to the 2001 design modeled by Patrick Kluivert below.
Now for the question on everyone's lips. How much will these beauties set me back? After much deliberation and soul searching the marketing people at Adidas have put a price on nostalgia and it's €349.50. However, there is free shipping so you'd be a mug not to take them up on that offer. The boots will be available to order in three days, and if other Predator releases are to be believed you should book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Sexy stuff.
Like the other re-releases of the Predators, the Adidas Predator Precision will attempt to blend modern features such as the stud pattern and sole plate with the older design, although the pictures above show us that they are keeping things very true to how the original boot looked.
