UCCSU have announced, through a post in Snapchat, that all Raise And Give week events around the University College Cork campus would be cancelled today due to the death of a student.
The news was shared by the university newspaper, UCC Express, in a Tweet.

Aidan Smith, a 22 year-old mathematical sciences from Tramore, Waterford was found in his apartment on Sunday.
Gardaí are investigating the death but are not treating it as suspicious.
