College fees in Ireland ain't cheap, according to a new study.
It appears that Irish students have well and truly lucked out when it comes to paying third-level fees as they're paying the second highest fees in Europe.
According to RTE.ie, The European Commission review found that when it comes to the high fees students have to pay for 'first cycle' or undergrad courses, only one country surpasses Ireland and that's the UK.
You may or may not be surprised to learn that undergraduate students here are charged whopping fees of €3,000 per year.
Overall, the study looked at charges applied across 42 education systems, focusing on fees for undergraduate courses.

First-time undergrads studying in the likes of Greece, Denmark, Germany and Finland, can count their lucky stars because they don't have to pay fees at all. Elsewhere, fourteen education systems charge less than €1,000 per year.
If students are worried about how they're going to pay college fees while keeping the shirts on their backs, these are the Irish counties with the highest job vacancies.
