Storm Brian made landfall earlier this morning in the country and has quickly spread across the country.
The eye of the storm is now directly over Dublin and will move out into the Irish sea shortly. However this doesn't mean that the storm is by any means over as it will continue to be incredibly windy for the rest of the day with stronger winds now coming from the North-East.
