Home And Away Actor Martin Lynes Has Been Found Guilty Of Sexual Assault

Martin Lynes who played baddie Adam Sharpe on Home and Away, has been found guilty of aggravated sexual assault. A jury heard how the 50-year-old actor violently assaulted the victim in 2015 and 2016, according to The Daily Telegraph Australia.

Lynes received a guilty verdict for aggravated sexual assault and was found not guilty of having sexual intercourse without consent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The actor pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied ever being violent towards the woman. The trial heard accounts that Lynes became physically and verbally violent and sexually aggressive towards the victim on three separate occasions. The woman who had to be treated in hospital for injuries.

Lynes first appeared on Home and Away in 2012 and also starred in All Saints. He will be held in custody until his sentencing in October.
