The Harry Potter series is a collection of sacred childhood texts that we will never be without. Now, two new Harry Potter books have been announced and, of course, we can't wait. Sadly though, they're not the long awaited prolog or Voldemorts story that Harry Potter fans have been waiting for but something a little bit more inquisitive.
In October the British Library will open an event to celebrate the 2oth anniversary of the magical series. The two new books will be released in conjunction with the event which is entitled "A History of Magic".Don't fret if you're a fan outside of the UK, Bloomsbury has announced that the event will run from October to February 2018.
The second book, Harry Potter – A Journey Through A History of Magic, will explore mystical subjects including unicorns, alchemy and ancient witchcraft.
The books, both by the British Library, will include unseen sketches and manuscript pages from J.K. Rowling, magical illustrations from Jim Kay and artifacts from the archives of the British library.

The new books come after the June 26 2o year anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone which has been translated into over 67 languages. The book series has sold over 400 million copies worldwide.
