Forget hanging around all summer, binge watching Netflix - if you fancy being productive, Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) have launched their internship programme for third-level students.
There are four paid placements available for those who are looking to get a head start on their careers. Internships are available at HRI Marketing Department, HRI Communications Department, Leopardstown Racecourse and Tote Ireland.
Students will be mentored by professionals in the field and will gain practical industry experience - so if you're looking for an opportunity to brush up on your CV, it might be worth checking out.
As per hri.ie, the internship opportunity reads:
Students will benefit from mentoring by experienced professionals while developing their practical skills and gaining a competitive edge for when they enter the job market
The internships will run for 10-12 weeks and begin on June 5 - each intern will be required to complete a weekly learning log.
