Almost every night out there's one member of the gang who can't help but lose half their life. One item that tops the list of possessions that just disappear into the abyss is the plastic bank card.
According to research by KBC, one in three people admit to losing a bank card and 17% of people missing a bank card go on to find it again.
The worst offenders at losing bank cards are men between the ages of 22 and 44 and living in Dublin. Not only are men more likely to lose their bank card, but 15% of Irish people also admitted they haven't been able to pay a bill on a date. Oh dear.
The research comes as KBC are set to release a new app which helps deal with Lost/Stolen cards. No matter what time of the day it is, customers can top up the app without their credit card and continue to make purchases.
