Nationwide Status Orange Weather Warning Issued As Storm Georgina Set To Hit

Looks like we should prepare for another major blow in - Storm Georgina is set to make her presence felt very soon.

Met Éireann have released a Status Orange weather warning as Storm Georgina gets set to hit to Ireland. Winds between 65km and 85km are expected to hit in the early hours of the morning so it might be best to batten down the hatches.

The warning is valid from midnight tonight 'til 5am Wednesday. Meanwhile a Status Yellow warning was issued this morning which will come into effect from 9pm and is valid 'til 9am tomorrow morning.
