As promised, Jack Frost did his thing. It's beginning to look like Christmas as people across the country woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. We were warned of significant snow fall as Met Eireann issued two orange status alert for certain counties across Ireland and in some cases, it spectacularly delivered.
Irish people took to social media to document their experience of the snow-formation. The elation was evident as people were treated to picture-perfect views.

We may as well enjoy it while we can, Irish weather is hardly known for its predictability.
