Met Éireann has announced a status Yellow warning ahead of this weekend.
At lunchtime today the national weather service announced that winds will reach gusts of up to 90 to 100 km/h Friday evening and night in coastal counties.

Wind speeds will range from 50 t0 65km/h with western and southern counties - Donegal, Mayo, Sligo, Kerry, and Clare - most affected. Coastal areas will be most impacted.

The weather warning is valid from the 3pm Friday 2 November until 12pm Saturday 3 November. Winds are expected to continue until Saturday afternoon with temperatures ranging between 12-15 degrees Celsius.
