What a time to be alive! For those of us living in the capital, you will soon be able to get Krispy Kreme doughnuts delivered straight to your door.
This new development comes as part of a new partnership between delivery app Just Eat Ireland and Krispy Kreme. From tomorrow 5th of March, you will be able to order the tasty treat from Just Eat. This perfectly aligns with Pancake Tuesday and also the return of Derry Girls season 2. March 5th is looking up to be the best day of the year to date.
You might remember in October last year, the Krispy Kreme's drive-thru opened its doors to the public in Blanchardstown and experienced ques out the door. After only a week, Krispy Kreme had to reconsider their 24-hour opening hours after locals lodged noise complaints about late-night beeping. If that is anything to go by you can be sure tomorrow people are going to lose their minds over this new addition to Just Eat.
Regarding this new partnership, Just Eat Ireland commercial director Edel Kinane said they were pleased to expand into the confectionery sector.
