Ryanair Wants To Make Airfares Free... But There's A Bit Of A Catch

How does this sound – Ryanair free fares?

Well, this could be a reality, as Michael O'Leary has said that the airline could make their money off snacks, WIFI and drinks on board. Ireland's stingiest airline owner stated in an interview with Germany's Handelsblatt, 'One day I want to have all the air fares on Ryanair being free. Ancillary revenues already make up 30% of our revenues. We might never get there, but at least it’s the objective.'

Well as long as you can pack in the sambos before the flight, it could possibly be free – woo. However, the CEO has admitted that he's abandoned Trans-Atlantic flights for the time being as he doesn't have enough aircrafts. He said in the interview that he won't have enough planes for at least another four years.

So it seems Michael O'Leary isn't exactly a man of his word which makes us wonder how legit the free flights really are?
