Printed Bomber jackets are the way to go this season. Amber Leigh Doyle checks out just who's wearing them and where you can pick one up.
Printed bombers are everywhere this season and we can see why: they are cool, fun and quirky. Bombers have been pretty much shunned and looked down upon since the Nineties, but they have been revived with some incredible bargain buys on the high street. The bomber jacket is a casual piece so it can be used to dress down an outfit or to add a splash of colour to your everyday jeans and tee combo. The look I have chosen is pretty edgy and fierce, I'm not a fan of plain bomber jackets or padded ones so they have been kicked firmly to one side. With the celebrity 'fash-pack' of Rihanna, Drake, Rita Ora, Cara and Beyonce snapped in some funky pieces, I think it is time for us to follow their lead.
I love bomber jackets with scarf print details since I find them quite Versace-esque, which is never a bad thing. While this look is not for everyone, if you're feeling brave and ready for an injection of bold fun into your wardrobe then these are definitely for you.

This is my actual bomber jacket from Cotton Face Vintage that I wear with black jeans, tight black tee, a gold linked chain and ankle boots. This also looks great teamed with acid-wash skinnies, white high-tops and a tight white tee for a real 80's feel.
I checked out Shutterbug, Kilkenny's answer to Vintage, and found some amazing pieces! Check out their FB page to see the new March stock and pick up one of these babies!
