An oily beauty essential..
As students we like to hold onto our hard earned cash. You see being expected to attend at least a semblance of your timetable actually in lectures and also in the library means that you can't really hold down a full time job. So you've to make what money you have last as long as possible.
In terms of beauty this means the YSL limited edition bottles and the Chanel compacts will probably not feature highly on the dressing table. However the desire to look amazing predominates. We need multi use products that do more than one thing.
Having perused the pharmacies of the land and scouring beauty blogs galore I bring you one product to champion many. If you do not know about it, thou must do thine-self a favour and get some of this in your life..
What we are actually talking about bears a celebrity fan list the length of my legs (*note I wear a 34" jean) Miranda Kerr, Gisele, Candice, Doutzen and all the Victoria Secret ladies, who don't actually need surnames their fame and beauty is so intense, rate this product as a must have. Rosanna Davison instagrams about it and to be fair, she's in good nick.

What I am actually talking about is Coconut oil.
The millions of uses it has begins here:
1) It's an intense hair conditioner. Smear it all over the ends of your hair. Chill for half an hour with it all wrapped up in a hot fresh off the heater towel. Shampoo twice and spend the next few days admiring how beautiful your hair is.
2) It is a genius make-up remover. Warm a little coconut oil in your palms to liquify it. Smear it all over your face and watch as it dissolves all your make up in mere seconds. Take off by applying a hot face cloth wrung out and feel how clean your lovely skin now is.

3) Night cream. Apply to a cleansed face for a dreamy soft night cream. Not suitable for oily skin as it's very rich but let's be real, this stuff can't do absolutely everything.
4) Lip balm. Pretty self explanatory. We know this isn't going to save you a fortune but those little tins of Vaseline do add up, eventually.
5) Body balm and massage oil. Depending on if you are massaging it into yourself or being massaged, it works either way. Yet another use.

6) You can cook with it! It makes amazing stir frys, taste weirdly better and you look all sophisticated with your fancy oil.
7) We're going to get all serious and science-y here as according to Oprah bessie Dr. Oz it can help you lose weight as Coconut fats have special fats called medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). It has been shown that breaking down these types of healthy fats in the liver leads to efficient burning of energy. One 2009 study found that women who consumed 30 milliliters (about 2 tablespoons) of coconut oil daily for 12 weeks not only did not gain more weight, but actually had lowered amounts of abdominal fat, a type of fat that is difficult to lose, and contributes to more heart problems.
8) Fake tan remover. When you have a bronzing related disaster or you just want to rid yourself of the patches and general smell, this stuff is your organic cleansing dream.
9)You can slick it through your cat's coat to make her super shiny...
Number 9 is for the real die hard fans.
