Top 17 Moments On TV 2013

2013 has been a very exciting year in TV. From the scandals and drama, to the stunts and TV shows, we have always been kept laughing. Here’s my ‘Top 16 Moments On TV 2013′.

1. PAULA DEEN

The way Paula Deen just kept digging herself a hole definitely was one of the highlights of TV in 2013. Her use of the ‘N’ word disgusted the nation and Oprah Winfrey even had her say. And let’s face it she doesn't exactly have the best crying face now does she? After losing her job and, quite frankly, her dignity, here is a look at Paula Deen in her..em..finest.

2. ANCHORMAN 2 TAKE OVER!

Anchorman 2 has certainly been the most promoted movie of 2013. And that’s not just because Irish anchor Anne Doyle is at the beginning of the trailer. It is very humbling for us Irish people, that they included our small country in their world domination. Also, Ron Burgundy’s message to The Late Late Toy Show was the perfect way to entertain us Irish folk.

3. SACHA BARON COHEN KILLS TV PRESENTER AT THE BAFTA’S..NOT REALLY THOUGH

This has to be one of the most shocking videos of 2013. My jaw literally hit the floor. It didn’t hit me until I read the YouTube comments that is was actually a stunt. A comedic stunt like this has never ever taken place at a BAFTA’s award ceremony, so the shock of the audience was certainly all real.

 

4. MILEY CYRUS AT THE VMA’S

No one was prepared and no one knew what was going on. But my face and the celebrities faces in the audience said it all really. What the hell is she doing?? And from watching her MTV documentary The Movement that was her exact plan. Well, it worked! Here we are 3 months on and we are still talking about it. Oh yes, and smoking a joint on stage at the EMA’s in Amsterdam…that was fairly shocking too!

 

5. SELENA GOMEZ TALKING ABOUT JUSTIN BIEBER ON LETTERMAN

Who knew she had it in her. But I guess Selena Gomez is just like us normal people who try to get back at their exes. On The Late Show with David Letterman, she did it so eloquently and it proved for very entertaining TV.

 

 

6. KANYE WEST BOUND 2

No explanation needed here….just watch…

 

7. PETER ANDRE AND TOM ELLIS ON CELEBRITY JUICE

I could not stop laughing from start to finish when Peter Andre and Tom Ellis had to make a burger upside down on Celebrity Juice….take a look…

 

8. JAMES FRANCO AND SETH ROGAN BOUND 3

James Franco and Seth Rogen were bored on their set of new and upcoming Movie ‘The Interview‘. So, they decided to do a remake of Kanye West’s music video‘Bound 2′ featuring his financée and baby mama Kim Kardashian.

9. KANYE WEST’S QUOTES AND BEHAVIOR

Kanye West has consistently made a fool out of himself in 2013 from his inappropriate quotes, his Twitter war with Jimmy Kimmel to his crazy interviews. Kanye was one to watch this 2013.

 

10. SHARON OSBOURNE..IN GENERAL

She had us laughing from start to finish on this years X Factor and what you can’t deny Sharon is that she is 100% honest. Mrs O  crying on the final of The X Factor 2013 was priceless. Also, her admitting to Graham Norton and Colin Farrell, on The Graham Norton Show, that her worst cosmetic procedure was getting her vagina tightened had me in stitches.

11. KIM KARDASHIAN CRYING ON KUWTK

Okay, Okay, this may not seem like breaking news to most, and don’t kill us Kanye, but for being one of the most beautiful people in the world Kim Kardashian really is an awful crier. We know she was crying with good reason (she was to give birth very soon and was still married to ex Kris Humphries) but it had us in hysterics all the same. Even her sister Kourtney is always pointing it out!

12. GIRLS, HBO SEASON 3

Lena Dunham continued with greatness with her TV series Girls Season 3. Even though the storylines were even more grim it had us laughing….a lot.

 

13. STEVE DAVIS’ FALL ON I’M A CELEBRITY

It was the all time greatest moment on this years I’m A Celebrity. Steve Davis was certainly the clumsiest member of the camp but no one could have predicted this…

 

14. GAIL PLATT SINGING (CORONATION STREET)

For all you Coronation Street  fans out there I am sure you have noticed something odd on the street this year. Yes, you’ve guest it, Gail Platt is showcasing one of her many talents: singing. We don’t know whether this is the outcome of losing a bet or the screen writers having  a laugh, but it is HILARIOUS! First it was Katy Perry’s‘Firework’ and now Gail Platt continues her quest for Pop Stardom with a cover of Stooshe’s ‘Black Heart’.

 

15. NICOLE SCHERZINGER LAUNCHING HER OWN CAREER INSTEAD OF ONE OF THE X FACTOR CONTESTANTS

When, now winner, Sam Bailey got up to perform her duet on Saturday’s show withNicole Scherzinger, there was something odd about the performance. Maybe it was the fact we barely heard Sam, the contestant's, voice it was all about the Scherzy. Take a look for yourself….

 

16. FAMILY GUY: BRIAN’S DEATH

Family Guy’s most beloved dog Brian’s death did not go down well with viewers this 2013. But after an overwhelming demand in online petitions and many angry messages Brian will return from the dead in Family Guy’s Christmas Special. So we can all relax…

 

17. AMY POEHLER AND TINA FEY AT THE 2013 EMMY AWARDS

The Emmy’s is usually a conservative awards ceremony..but not this year. And this was all down to the two comedians, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The two staged some comedic stunts throughout the night which had the audience in stitches and host Neil Patrick Harris looking rather nervous.
