We as a nation know how blessed we are to have Michael D. Higgins as our president. Not only is he super adorbz, but he is also a wonderful human rights activist and an all-round lovely man.
I mean who couldn't love a man who said his vision in his presidency was “inclusive citizenship, in a creative society, as part of a real republic that makes us proud to be Irish in the world”. Sniff.
